Remember the mother of (I think) two children that was jogging in the mountains a few years back and was killed by a cougar. When they killed the cougar and found the kittens, money poured in to provide for the kittens. No help for the children that were left motherless until some people started to become outraged and then the focus shifted to the children.

I believe that our society has seriously misplaced our priorities, and skewed our moral values. Of course, this is just my opinion.
